2010 Bob Beaty Chatfield Football Hall of Fame Winners

The first Bob Beaty Chatfield Football Hall of Fame class members have been elected. They will be inducted at the golf tournament.

Lance Lohrenz – The first All-State player for the Chatfield Chargers

Lance Lohrenz

Lance Lohrenz played football for CSH for four years and was a varsity starter for three years. His senior year, he was selected as an All-State linebacker. He was the first Chatfield player to receive all-state honors. Lance also started on offense, primarily as a fullback. His senior year, the team made the second round of the playoffs.

After graduating from Chatfield, Lance attended Idaho State University as a running back. After a church mission, he transferred to Scottsdale Community College, and finished his college career at Eastern Illinois University, where he played linebacker. Lance also coached football at Scottsdale Community College and at Phoenix College. His works in real estate in the Scottsdale area, where he lives with his wife April and their children.

High School: Generally regarded as one of the top athletes in the state of Colorado … A highly-coveted prospect who also starred as a receiver … Caught 39 passes for 850 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior … Rivals.com rated Robinson a three-star prospect and the 10th-ranked dual-threat quarterback target in the country … Was also rated the ninth-best overall prospect in Colorado, regardless of position … Senior season quarterback numbers included 1,475 passing yards and 15 touchdowns with just six INTs … Also had 1,078 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns … Numerous honors included first-team all-Colorado, first-team all-state, Jefferson County offensive MVP, and all-conference honors as both a quarterback and punter … Recruited by Kansas State, Oklahoma, Colorado, Colorado State and Arizona State.

Personal: Born Sept. 29, 1986, in Edmond … Son of Russ and Myra Robinson … Has a brother, Chase, and two sisters, Katie Ann (an OSU student) and Taylor … Majoring in management … Mom is an OSU grad, father was a student-athlete at Oklahoma and an uncle was a former Pistol Pete.
